Whatever it's made of

We restore the material, not just the window

Wood, glass, or aluminum — we fix what's damaged and keep what's sound.

Wood

Rotted wood

Soft, crumbling sills, frames, sashes, and thresholds rebuilt with structural epoxy that cures stronger than the original — for windows, doors, and decks.

Glass

Broken or foggy glass

Cracked panes and failed insulated units (that clouded, moisture-filled look) replaced — restoring clarity and efficiency without a new window.

Aluminum

Aluminum frames

Corroded, bent, or seized aluminum windows and doors — we restore the glass, seals, rollers, and hardware, and reseal against leaks and drafts.

Repair-first

Why repair instead of replace

A fraction of the cost

Restoration typically runs 20–30% of a new window — the same window, working like new, for far less.

Days, not weeks

Most repairs are done in a single visit — no demolition, no dust, no moving furniture out of the room.

Keep your originals

Original old-growth wood outlasts modern replacements and preserves your home's character.

Excellent service. We had a crack in our Pella window and did not want to replace the whole window. They specialize in Pella Windows. They measured and order the glass pane and within 2 weeks expertly installed it . Also great communication

Had an amazing experience with Sergei and the crew. Our Pella window broke and Pella gave us a very expensive quote with 8 week turnaround. Sergei was able to recreate the window in a fraction of the time and cost. Work quality was impeccable and they did the job in record time. Highly recommend for all kinds of door and window related issues.

I called multiple contractors and companies. Serge provided a quote and confirmed they could repair within a week. They were the only ones who said they could fix my broken Pella casement window from the 1990s! Everyone else including Pella recommended to change the entire three window set. They did a great job in less than half a day! Not the cheapest but I avoided changing 3 windows to fix the one broken sash and glass and didn’t have to wait for 6 weeks! Highly recommend!

Serg and Sasha at WindowServ were easy to communicate with, prompt and matched the glass window perfectly. They helped to clean up all the shards of glass and made it look like nothing ever happened to my window in the first place! Would definitely recommend for your window needs!

Sergey and WindowServ NJ did a great job replacing our patio slider door Glass, as well as the mesh in our Screen slider. He was prompt, professional and very reasonable on pricing. We will likely be using him and his company for a future front door replacement project as well.

FAQ

Window repair FAQs for New Jersey homeowners

Common questions about cost, rot repair, foggy glass, timelines, and whether to repair or replace.

How much does window repair cost in New Jersey?

Most window repairs cost a fraction of full replacement — often about 20–30% of a new window — depending on the issue (foggy glass, wood rot, balances, hardware). We provide a free on-site estimate so you know the repair cost before any work begins.

Can a rotted window frame be repaired?

Yes. Soft or crumbling sills, frames, and sashes can usually be rebuilt with structural epoxy and matched woodwork, restoring strength without replacing the entire window. We only recommend replacement when the frame truly cannot be saved.

Is it better to repair or replace windows?

Repair is usually better when the window is structurally sound but has foggy glass, drafts, stuck sashes, failed balances, or localized wood rot. Replacement makes sense for severely failed units or when you want a different style or energy rating. We price the repair first and tell you honestly either way.

How long does window restoration take?

Many repairs are completed in a single visit with no demolition and no need to empty the room. Larger multi-window or historic restoration projects may take additional visits; we outline the timeline in your estimate.

Do you repair foggy double-pane windows?

Yes. Failed insulated glass units (the cloudy, moisture-filled look) can be replaced while keeping the existing frames and sashes — restoring clarity and efficiency without a full window replacement.

What window brands do you repair?

We repair and restore Andersen, Marvin, Pella, Jeld-Wen, Milgard, Kolbe, Crystal, Weather Shield, Windsor, Harvey, Simonton, and many custom or historic windows found in New Jersey homes.

Which New Jersey areas do you serve?

We are based in West Caldwell and serve Morris, western Essex, southern Passaic, and northern Union counties — including Montclair, Livingston, Morristown, Summit, Wayne, and surrounding towns.

Are window repairs covered by a warranty?

Yes. Our work includes a workmanship warranty, with optional extended coverage on glass and repairs. Details are confirmed in your written estimate before work starts.

Not sure if it's a repair or a replacement?

Get a free, honest assessment — we'll tell you straight whether we can restore it, and what it saves you versus replacement.
